By focusing on preparation and clear communication, you’ll transform performance reviews into meaningful dialogues that enhance team dynamics, improve performance, and drive employee development. This workshop equips you with the tools to write evaluations that are not only fair and objective but also empowering and actionable.

With a focus on preparation and clear communication, you’ll transform performance reviews from a dreaded task into an opportunity for meaningful development and success.

Session 2: Facilitating a Performance Review Discussion that Inspires and Motivates Performance

Performance evaluations are often stressful and ineffective, with only a small percentage of employees feeling inspired by them. However, when approached thoughtfully, these conversations can set the stage for a successful year of growth, improvement, and development. This workshop equips leaders with practical strategies to prepare for and conduct meaningful, conversational evaluations that motivate employees and elevate performance.

You’ll learn how to prepare both yourself and your employees for the evaluation process, create performance snapshots to guide your discussions, and use effective questioning techniques to facilitate open, future-focused conversations. By the end of this workshop, you’ll be able to turn performance evaluations into productive, less stressful, and more impactful meetings that inspire continued excellence.
